Primary Uniform
Field Gear
All H-uD members must have a field gear/equipment set up including, equipment belt/buckle, Y-straps, ammo pouches for weapon, bread bag, canteen, mess tin, entrenching tool, bayonet, and gas mask can.
This list may vary slightly depending on role. Examples are Medics, MG crew, etc.

HuD members must have a breadbag to carry food and other personal items in the field. Only Heer khaki or olive green are authorized. No Luftwaffe blue breadbags, political breadbags or "M44" breadbags are allowed.

HuD members must have a canteen for water while in the field. The canteen is mounted to the right D-ring of the breadbag for ease of reach while geared up.

HuD members must have an "M31" mess tin/strap and eating utensil/spork. An army lives, moves and operates on it's stomach. The mess tin is attached to the left D-ring of the breadbag with the strap while geared up.

HuD members must have an E-tool. While the folding spade (Klappspaten) is authorized, the unit prefers members to own a straight handled spade.

HuD members must have a bayonet and frog. The bayonet is mounted on the belt and looped through the center of the E-tool carrier.

HuD members must have a correct pair of Y-Straps. No Austrian or post war straps are allowed. The Many Soldaten broke regulation and ditched their gas mask and used their cannister to carry food and personal items.

HuD members must have a gas mask canister. Owning an actual gas mask is not required. Many Soldaten broke regulation and ditched their gas mask and used their cannister to carry food and personal items.

Shelter Quarter (Zeltbahn)
HuD members must have at least one zeltbahn piece. The zeltbahn can be worn as a poncho over the uniform and be used for camouflage purposes.
4 pieces can be buttoned together to form a shelter tent.
